Abstract
Neurogenic tumors of the brachial plexus are unusual. Two different types of neurogenic tumors can be distinguished, the schwannoma and the neurofibroma. Schwannoma arise from the schwann cell in all kinds of cranial nerve except optic and olfactory nerve, spinal nerve root and peripheral nerve. Approximately 25% to 40% of all schwannomas are found in neural structure of head and neck. In neck, the tumor mostly occur from the vagus nerve and sympathetic nerve. We have experien-ced and report a case of schwannoma in ulnar nerve, brachial plexus which was surgically removed sparing the nerve function.
